ABOUT US
Geoff Spotswood’s coaching clinics began in 1990 at Crestwood High School at Baulkham Hills in Sydney’s north-west. The first clinic was held soon after Geoff had returned from a year in Ireland where he taught physical education and coached in secondary schools while playing and coaching cricket – this original clinic attracted twenty young cricketers.
Geoff has now conducted many, many clinics over the past twenty years – and has continued his teaching career. Geoff is currently the Cricket Master and teaches Personal Development, Health and Physical Education at The King’s School, Parramatta.
During his sporting career, Geoff played 1st grade cricket for both Bankstown and Western Suburbs, as well as playing 1st grade rugby league for both Western Suburbs Magpies and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Geoff is a Level 3 Cricket Australia coach – which is the highest coaching ASC accreditation currently available. This qualifies Geoff to provide challenging opportunities for players of all skill levels – from beginners through to Australian representatives.
